Brief Description of Project

The project involved the design, supply and installation of solar power systems and water pumping systems. These for rural clinics and staff houses in various districts (Thyolo, Chiradzulu) in 2010-2011. The work involved collaboration of the offices Medicines Sans Frontiers in Malawi, France and Belgium and Fortune CP Offices in the UK

Scope of work:

Engineering – System Design, Drawings, Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing

Procurement and Delivery

Installation

Testing, Commissioning and Training

2 year Maintenance

Equipment included:

• Solar water heaters
• 5KVA UPS power back systems
• Solar water pumps
  • Batteries
  • Inverters
• Accessories such as cabling and battery bank cabinets
