Detailed Description

This work involves the project management and installation supervision for solar power systems. These systems were installed in government offices, schools and communities. The systems include solar panels, batteries, charge controllers, inverters, mounting frames, as well as lighting. All works were supervised by Fortune CP engineers and technicians. The project was funded by the European Union and the Mozambican Government.

The beneficiaries of the project are over 50,000 rural inhabitants in the three provinces. As most of the rural communities have no access to electricity, this project will have a lasting impact. Benefits include access to electricity and lighting 24/7, no need to use environment polluting diesel generators, access to clean water, use of telecommunication equipment, and community safety due to street lighting.
