Detailed Description

This project involved the engineering, manufacture, supply and installation of off-grid solarpower systems for powering 14 hospitals and clinics in Malawi.

Scope of work:

• Engineering – System Design, Factory Acceptance Testing by SGS
• Manufacture and Delivery
• Installation
• Testing, Commissioning

Equipment includes:

• 893KW of GEL VRLA battery power storage
• 320 Monocrystalline solar panels
• 58 pure sinewave inverter-chargers – over 107KW
• Over 600 LED bulbs
• Solar water heaters for 42 buildings
