Brief Description of Project

The project involves design, supply, installation of solar power system for Matawale hospital in Zomba District in Malawi. The project was funded by Westgate Twinning, an NHS Charity in Scotland.

Detailed Description

The project involves a hybrid system constituting of solar panels, invertors, charge controllers, OPZV batteries and accessories to power hospital wards. It also included the powering of fridges, air conditioners and all lighting in the hospital premises.

Equipment included:

• 3KW of Fortune CP solar panels
• 69KWH Rolls OPzV batteries
• 10KW hybrid inverter chargers
