LED Energy Efficient Lighting, Zambia

Brief Description of Project

Design, manufacture and supply of energy efficient LED lights to reduce electricity consumption for mining companies, banks, hotels and other companies.

Location:      Various, Zambia

Year: 2012

Detailed Description

This project involved the manufacture and supply of energy efficient LED lights (LED fluorescent tubes, bulbs and spot lights) to companies such as Lafarge Cement, CEC Mines and hotels in Zambia. The LED lights replaced traditional incandescent lights. LED lights save about 70% of electricity compared to conventional lights. The above organisations wanted to be energy efficient (to reduce operating expenditure, and the need to reduce consumption due electricity shortfalls in Zambia). All products are engineered by Fortune CP in United Kingdom.

The benefits of the project include a substantial reduction in electricity costs, electricity demand savings from the ZESCO grid, and a reduction in carbon emissions.

Fortune CP carries out solar and energy efficiency projects worldwide. If you would like Fortune CP to implement a project in Zambia, please contact our sales team – sales@fortunecp.com
