Fortune CP was founded in 2004 and was registered as a Limited Company in England and Wales at Companies House. In the early years of its existence the company activities included management consultancy, project management and general trade of IT and solar products. The company also operated an international trade exchange website (savitrex.com) where buyers and sellers worldwide would register their trade leads and display products.
Over the following 2-3 years the focus narrowed down to Renewable Energy, an industry sector with big growth potential. Having talented engineers among its key people the company exploited its strong technology potential to establish a company with capabilities in Engineering, Production, Supply and Construction.
Over the years, Fortune CP has supplied, installed and commissioned systems on some prestigious projects world-wide in over 40 countries. Browse through our projects for detailed information.
Using our talented engineers all over the world, we can design systems for various applications. We say “If it uses power, then we can apply renewable energy to it”. Anyone can sell a solar panel, but providing an innovative energy solution is a completely different proposition.

We are proud to be associated with a number of community development projects.
One of the projects we are involved in at Lobi, Dedza District, Malawi in Africa is a solar powered irrigation project for local farmers to grow fruits and vegetables. Currently this project is improving local farmers’ income. Farmers are also encouraged to produce fruit and tree seedlings most of which are planted. Fruits, when harvested, provide passive income to farmers for more than 10 years. Trees (Eucalyptus, pine and indigenous) are also planted for timber and to combat deforestation and climate change. So far over 1 million trees have been produced, involving 300 farmers.
There is a plan to create a museum (mega orchard spanning several hectares of land) of indigenous African fruits where tourists from all over the world can visit Lobi to see and sample the true taste of Africa.
This project is carried out in Angonia District, Tete Province, Mozambique and Dedza District, Malawi. It involves installation of solar kits for over 3,000 households. Most farmers pay for the solar kits via a scheme where they grow tree seedlings in exchange for a home solar kit.
We have also provided off-grid electricity to teachers, the police, clinics, and small businesses.
We are proud to have been involved in football team sponsorship for teams at Lobi and Chimwankhuku in Dedza, Malawi.
Another project we are associated with is Mkokomo. This is an initiative by Word Alive Ministries, a church based in Blantyre Malawi. The project supplies high quality bottled water to hotels and other customers in Malawi.
